We invite you to a first experimental collection and interrogation, a mapping of terms, images and sounds on the relationship between law and image.

Since the launch of the project „Terms and Conditions – the legal form of images“, a cooperation project with the Harun Farocki Institute on 10/11 April 2024 (see link below), students have begun researching and will present the first interim results on Tuesday, 21 May 2024 in the gallery of the Academy of Visual Arts.

This also marks the end of the first phase of this project in the HGB gallery. On display will be initial forms of research, their own investigations, which can encompass interests as diverse as images in front of the courtroom, norms, copyright and property rights, open codes, questions of natural rights and the law’s access to a body.
